PV Installation Process
We try to make getting a PV system installed as easy as possible.
- 1. Home survey pack
- We will send you a Home Survey pack to fill in and we will send you a provisional quote based on the information you supply.
- 2. A site visit
- If you are happy with the quote we sent, we'll come and do a site survey. Once we've done the site visit to make sure everything is suitable for installation, we will send you a firm quote.
- 3. Accepting the quote
- Once you accept the quote, we require a deposit so that we can get on and start arranging your PV Installation. We can sort out with you installation dates and any pre-installation requirements.
- 4. Installation and Commisioning
- Installation normally takes two to three days depending on the size of system you have chosen, and the installation complexity. The Electrical connection to your fuse box will be made by a qualified electrician, and we will sort out the MCS certification of the PV system so you can start earning. We will also inform your local Distribution company (DNO). You will be issued with a MCS system certification number.
- 5. Earning and Saving
- Savings on your electricity bill will start straight away. You then will have to tell your electricity supplier that you have a PV system, the size and the MCS certification number. They can then arrange to start making payments to you for generating clean electricity.
